While it was convenient to buy online, there was much disappointment that my husband could not use his birthday gift card in the shop on site. I booked a visit for his 60th birthday as Glenallachie is his favourite whiskey and then organised the voucher with money from family members who couldn't spend the day with him. He enjoyed the tour very much and looked forward to buying his present after the whiskey tasting. The lovely tour guide was apologetic when we couldn't use the voucher as she realised the ridiculous situation we were in; we had to go home and buy a bottle online... to be delivered to our house 10 mins drive away for an additional delivery charge of £6! I doubt we are the only ones who would like the gift card to be used both online and on site.
